TextAd Experiment – ItPays

First Week!

Since the start of google contextual ads there have been many that want to follow in the footsteps of the powerhouse advertiser. In response to this i will be running various text ads across my blog in an attempt to test these solutions out and i will be reporting everything back to you.

The lucky Guinea pig for the first round are ItPays.ws text ad service and if their websites anything to go by i’m not too hopeful for this network. However, this experiment is fair and based on how much potential money can be made so i will be testing as many Text advertising networks as i possibly can, whats different? – ItPays.ws is keyword based and doesn’t have anything to do with your content.

ItPays is the first to step onto the scriptbloggers site as there has been a couple of complaints by ItPays customers regarding payouts while ItPays continue to defend itself claiming that the clicks where fraudulent. Stay tuned for the real review in a few days!

Signing up for ItPays.ws gives you $30 free advertising credit!

I really don’t know Chriss’s experience in that time but I guess it wasn’t that great since he didn’t recommend it to me.

    Cheers,

Just a update for those interested.

itpays has a distinct lack of advertisers which leaves you displaying very generic terms and unrelated ads for the most part along with itpays home adverts inviting users to signup.

You won’t recieve more than 10c per click and they themselves take 10c so it’s costing the advertiser 20c per click which seems a bit high for new company.

There have been some complaints about non payment ect.. from itpays.

At the moment it’s 4/10 but hopefully as advertisers get involved publishers will start to benefit.

Thanks Chris, That’s good to know.
Honestly I think their site is unprofessionally designed and their tools are so basic, at least for publishers. I don’t know what is the point to attract advertisers with such a high commission ?
Actually my experience shows, in some niches like flash game sites, Adsense sucks but for some like a making money blogs Adsense seems good.(IMO)
