Video game industry is getting bigger and bigger. With so many games out every week it’s so hard to keep up-to-date at least for an ordinary casual gamer. There is a serious need to filter games and find the ones you are interested and the ones you are not. The game description doesn’t really say anything and the game trailer is usually made from cut-scenes which are anything but similar to the game. To be fair, I should say some game developers made this issue a little easier by releasing free playable demos available to download but again it’s not fun downloading 1GB of data, installing it only to try a limited version specially when there is a chance you may not find the game interesting.

So as a casual gamer facing these problems I thought launching a new site covering game reviews and posting videos of actual gameplay (without being affiliated with any game company of any kind) can be a useful to most video gamers. Most importantly I couldn’t start this site by myself so when my semi-hardcore gamer friend, Mike, gave me the green light I didn’t wait even one day. (and honestly he’s been on fire since the site’s launch.)

So with no further unnecessary description, here is Gameplay Reviews, More about Mike and GameplayReviews.com’s youtube channel.

As usual feedbacks and suggestions are highly welcome and appreciated.

    This sounds like a really good idea. I know I’ve bought games that looked cool on the commercials, but was really lame when I played it. The idea of actual video footage of the game being played is intriguing and sounds helpful. Just make sure you do your research beforehand, though, in case of copyright laws.

    Thanks Lloyd. So far so good. No copyright issues. The only time our video was removed from YouTube was when we uploaded a game trailer which I can care less because the whole idea of our site is to show the actual gameplay instead of the trailer cut-scenes.

    I’ll keep here posted if we get into any copyright problems.

    being a semi-hardcore gamer myself (countless hours on xbox live ranking up)i think this is a good idea seeing as not many people can go out and dump 60 dollars on a new release that is garbage.

    the world of games is vast now. There are millions of games available now a days. and finding out good quality of games from them is really difficult. This site is great as we can see reviews of the games in this site and select the best game. Thanks for sharing. great post. good luck.

    The game explanation doesn’t actually say anything and the game trailer is generally made from cut-scenes which are anything but comparable to the game.

    I’m always cautious about review sites because they are not always objective. Having video proof backing up review comments is very helpful though.

    Yeah Its a Good Idea, and many survey results are also suggest that gaming is booming now a days , so its great idea to lunch and its very helpful for game lovers and i wish a few poker game tricks also included in ur site.

    The idea is very good. It was high time somebody to take care of the games themselves than just trying to sale them. But you will probably need a lot of information and people’s opinions about what they have tried, so it is not an easy task. Good luck!

    The only solution to that problem is that a specific site should be there so that the gamers can check out the new games trailers and demos.
